3 Emerging Artist Project - City without Walls

In this project, an up and coming artist created hand drawn labels for Elimindi's packaging. cWOW is an urban gallery of emerging art. They provide mentors to high school students, gallery exhibitions, community mural development, and other opportunities that advance the careers of artists while building the audience for contemporary art.

City Without Walls is New Jersey’s oldest nonprofit alternative art space in continuous operation since 1975. They operate a professional fine art gallery that showcases the work of contemporary artists on-site, off-site, online and through traveling exhibitions.

About the Artist

Kristianne Molina

Kristianne Molina is a Filipino-American artist who works in the mediums of painting, embroidery, installation, stop motion, and performance. Her works consist of paintings on fabrics using repurposed materials, acrylics, and deconstructing natural dyeing techniques as a painting process. Molina explores time and space as active roles in her work as ephemeral elements. She received her BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She was granted a 2015 and 2016 Sol Studio mentorship, an ESKFF 2016 Emerging Artist Winter Residency, and a 2017 Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art Teaching Residency.
